The H300 is a dual mono design that delivers 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms from the Class AB amplifier and is a terrific sounding integrated.
The H300 has a superb internal DAC, as Hegel is well known for designing and manufacturing great stand-alone DAC's. Additionally the unit has a DAC loop feature which future proofs the integrated and allows an external DAC, that you may be partial to, to bypass the internal DAC .
“The H300’s class-AB amplifier section produces a solid 250Wpc into an 8-ohm load, or 430Wpc into 4 ohms. Its signal/noise ratio exceeds 100dB, and its damping factor is greater than 1000. Distortion is listed as a negligible 0.005% at 100W into 8 ohms while outputting a 1kHz tone. The power supply is a 1000VA dual-mono design, armed with 90,000µF of capacitance.
