As a high-performance DAC & streamer, DMP-A8 can not only play and manage various high-resolution local music well but also embeds various third-party high-resolution music streaming services, such as Tidal, Qobuz, Highresaudio, Deezer, WebDAV, and UPnP, etc.
Self-developed EOS Audio Engine
The DMP-A8 utilizes the self-developed EOS (Eversolo Original sampling-rate audio engine), supporting output at all audio original sampling rate. In other words, any audio playback can entirely bypass the Android SRC limitation, supporting the Direct audio passthrough of third-party apps (Such as Apple Music hi-res Direct output).
Versatile Master Recording Playback and Decoding
The DMP-A8 supports nearly all ultra-high sampling master recording formats available in the market, including CD-quality formats (FLAC, WAV, APE) and DSD512 (.dsf/.dff/.iso/.dst) stereo and MQA etc.
MQA Full Decoding
The DMP-A8 includes MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) technology, which enables you to play back MQA audio files and streams, delivering the sound of the original master recording.

Equipped with a large 6" LCD high-definition touchscreen, the DMP-A8 features a professionally tailored streamer system, simple but exquisite user interface, as well as on-screen intuitive touch controls for system settings, local music library and third-party apps. Rich Inputs and Outputs
DMP-A8 can be used as a digital turntable to connect with various high-end DAC by HDMI IIS, USB, optical, and coaxial outputs. As a DAC, it supports a wide range of digital inputs: 2 coaxial, 2 optical, USB B input to connect PCs and mobile devices. As a high-performance preamplifier, it supports analog inputs XLR and RCA. It also supports APTX HD Bluetooth audio input, making it easy to connect with various digital audio sources. The DMP-A8 can be directly paired with active speakers or power amplifier via analog preamp outputs RCA and XLR. The trigger out port can achieve the linkage with power amplifier systems.
Flexible Storage Expansion
An M.2 NVMe SSD slot is built in at the bottom of the DMP-A8, allowing for convenient SSD installation without disassembling the device. The DMP-A8 supports SSD up to 4 TB, with faster speed and less noise, providing stable storage for high-quality local music. Additionally, storage devices can be connected externally through the USB OTG port of DMP-A8.
Dual Power Supplies Design
In order to eliminate interference and noise between the system circuit and the audio circuit, and to enhance sound purity, separate designs are employed for the power supply of the system and the audio circuit. The linear power supply is composed of a multi-winding toroidal transformer, specially designed to match the characteristics of analog audio circuits. The high-quality switching power supply is tailored for the system circuit. It significantly reduces ripple and magnetic leakage interference, providing strong support for high-quality audio processing. Furthermore, it incorporates a patented smart switching technology for the linear power supply voltage input, enabling compatibility with voltages worldwide without flipping switches.
3rd Generation XMOS 316 Audio Interface
With 3rd generation XMOS 316 audio processor, DMP-A8 has faster speed and higher USB bandwidth, ensuring the lossless transmission of high-definition audio data. USB ports supports up to DSD 512 Native and PCM 768KHz @32bit. The Optical and Coaxial ports support DSD 64 (DoP), PCM 192KHz @24bit.
AK4499EX / AK4191EQ Digital-Analog Separation DAC Solution
DMP-A8 features an industry-leading two-chip DAC solution from AKM, stereo D/A conversion. The design minimizes the effects of digital noise within the analog output, resulting in a perceived improvement in signal to noise ratio. DSD512, PCM768 @32bit, and MQA hardware decoding are supported.
Dual High-precision Clocks
There are 2 ultra-low phase noise femtosecond high-precision clocks for audio decoding circuit (45.1584MHz and 49.152MHz), which correspond to the decoding of 44.1KHz and 48KHz multiplied sampling rates respectively. This effectively suppresses Jitter, ensuring highly accurate conversion and decoding of digital-to-analog audio signals, providing ultra-high dynamic range and resolution for analog audio output and reproduces and the real sound details from music studio.
Fully Balanced Analog Preamplifier Circuit
The DMP-A8 is equipped with a high-performance fully balanced preamplifier function, supporting XLR/RCA analog inputs. It also features a +10dB analog gain and, when combined with the R2R analog volume control network, ensures ultra-low noise and distortion for the output.
HDMI-IIS Output
DMP-A8 outfits IIS output, which can connect to DACs with IIS input. The mute levels of different DACs' IIS signals vary, MUTE PIN can be switched by settings. Supporting PCM 768K, DSD512 with the highest sampling rate.
